Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains the rules related to order cancellation on DayalHouse.in

By placing an order, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

1. General Cancellation Rules

Due to the nature of food products and made-to-order items, Dayal House follows a strict cancellation policy to ensure freshness, quality, and operational efficiency.

2. Cancellation of Regular Orders

  • Orders for regular, non-custom, packaged products may be eligible for cancellation only before the order is processed or dispatched.
  • Once an order has been processed, prepared, or dispatched, cancellation is not permitted.

3. Cancellation of Custom & Fresh Food Orders

⚠️ The following orders cannot be cancelled under any circumstances once confirmed:

  • Custom cakes
  • Designer or themed cakes
  • Fresh cakes, pastries, desserts
  • Ice creams and frozen desserts
  • Same-day or scheduled delivery orders

Reason: These products are prepared specifically for the customer and cannot be reused or resold.

4. Pan-India Cancellation

  • Orders placed for Pan-India delivery may be cancelled only before dispatch.
  • Once the order has been handed over to the courier partner, cancellation is not possible.

5. How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation (where applicable):

    Contact us immediately through DayalHouse.in or the provided customer support channels.

    Cancellation requests are reviewed based on the order status at the time of request.

    Approval of cancellation is at the sole discretion of Dayal House.

6. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

  • If a cancellation request is approved, the refund (if applicable) will be processed as per our Refund Policy.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 working days, subject to bank or payment gateway timelines.

7. Non-Cancellable Situations

Cancellation requests will NOT be accepted in the following cases:

  • Order already prepared or dispatched
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
  • Customer unavailable at delivery time
  • Delays caused by courier partners or external factors

8. Dayal House Rights

Dayal House reserves the right to:

  • Cancel any order due to operational issues, stock unavailability, or suspected misuse
  • Modify this Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice
